How do I know how to pose? I feel nervous.
Don’t worry about posing. We've totally got you covered in that department. We know all the tricks to create the most flattering angles for you, no matter what shape or size you are. It is definitely normal to be nervous for your boudoir session, so don't worry. Most of our clients are nervous until the session has gone on for a few minutes. After it starts, you’ll begin to loosen up and feel comfortable.
Do you provide the wardrobe? What do I bring?
Yes, We do have outfits, lingerie and accessories at no additional charge. We have from simple fabrics, classic lace dresses, lingerie, body chains and feathers/angel wings to name a few! You are also more than welcome to bring your own items to the session. For our sessions, we suggest two to three different outfits and any props you may want to incorporate.
I want to share these pictures with my partner, but I don't want loose prints floating around. Any ideas for the best gift?
This is a very common concern and we totally understand. We recommend placing an order for our little black book. This is much more discreet and will keep all of your images in one place and not floating around. We also offer other album options as well. For more information on these products, just ask.
Can I bring a friend?
Of course! Boudoir is a little intimidating at first, if it is your first time, but having a friend with you may make the transition from shy to diva faster so we can have some badass shots! However, sometimes an extra set of eyes has the opposite effect, even if it is a friend. They are more than welcome to come, but if they are making you uncomfortable, they may have to wait in another room. We want to make it a safe space for you to truly bring on the sass so we can capture some amazing photos.
Will my session be with a male or female photographer?
Our team is composed of myself and two female assistants who will assist you during your session.
Do you do Retouch or Edit the final pictures?
Yes, we do basic or advanced retouching on all of your final pictures based on your preference. We will also re-edit all you images until 100% satisfied.
I’m not a model – are boudoir photos still flattering even if my body isn’t perfect?
Absolutely! Nobody is perfect and every woman is sexy. If you have any specific concerns, contact us and we can talk about it!
Do you do outdoor boudoir sessions?
We do offer outdoor boudoir sessions, but only if they take place on your private property. It also has to be in a secluded area, so nobody can see us during the session. We do this to protect you and our company. If you happen to have a space where you want to shoot let us know and we’ll set something up.
What is boudoir photography and why do a session?
Boudoir photography is a style of photography that captures the subject in an intimate or sensual way. Sessions can start with simple elegance and increase in intensity and sexiness depending on the style the client chooses. You can do a solo boudoir or couples boudoir session with your special someone! A boudoir session is a very special experience. There are endless reasons to have a boudoir session. Whether it is to celebrate your self, to use as a confidence booster, or as a gift for your special someone, I believe it is an experience every woman should have.
Do I have to have my hair and makeup professionally done?
Nope! if you are makeup savvy, you can do your own hair and makeup if preferred. But we do have an in studio makeup artist and local stylists to provide you with a One Stop Experience. When we plan your session, we can book the MUaH to meet you at our studio prior to the photo session. We do encourage our clients to take advantage and fully enjoy their boudoir experience. This is not an every day shoot and these will not be everyday photos! We find that hair and makeup often give our clients the confidence to look and feel good, flowing smoothly through their session and unleashing the beauty within!
